BOLOGNA! (Not the sausage.)

Today is May 20th and the 7th day of our trip. We're now headed to Bologna and staying there for 2 nights. Before we got to Bologna, we stopped at San Miniato for lunch at Antico Ristoro Le Colombaie.

First, we were given a special short class about olive oil and to tell the difference between good and bad olive oil. The main differences we were told to look out for is its smell, taste, and color. The smell should definitely be stronger, the taste of fresh oil she have a hint of spicy to it and the color should be more green.

Chef Daniele Fagiolini was the person in charge of our meal today. His food was more than filling and was extremely delicious! I didn't even know he was the chef until someone told me because he went to every single table to serve our food and he also answered any questions I had. Sorry Chef!



After this, we headed back to the hotel and ended the day. What a great first day in Bologna!
